Answer This Question
A: Thank you for reaching out. The height/length of the shade when closed would be 3.25 inches. Please also keep in mind that we recommend ordering 1/2" shorter in the width measurement than the measured size of your window opening to allow shade to operate properly.

Q:Do ;I order actual measurement or slightly smaller?

Answer This Question
A: Thank you for reaching out. Depending on an inside or outside mount will determine the size ordered. For an inside mount we always recommend going 1/2" smaller that your measured size to allow the shade to operate and fit inside the opening. For an outside mount we recommend going 6" bigger in size to have the shade cover all the openings. Please keep this in mind when ordering.

Answer This Question
A: Thank you for reaching out. We always recommend having 1/2" of space to allow the shade to operate properly/ fit into the opening. In this case we recommend two shades with the width of 38". This will allow the edges to have enough space between the edges of the window and the shades.

Q:The inside of my window measures 29 3/4 . Would I need to order the 29.5 or 29 for an inside mount?

Answer This Question
A: Thank you for reaching out. For an inside mount we always recommend going 1/2" smaller than the measured size to allow the blind/shade to fit and operate properly. In this case we recommend going with the 29" as the 29.5" could possibly be to small.
