Q:I understand that water may never get up there, but having it sealed is important to me, as I'll be cleaning the bowl and water/moisture will be getting up into that area. Should this be a concern for me? Looking at the circular bowl model, it seems like there is no gap between bowl and countertop.

A: It doesn't appear to have caulking there but is well sealed by the adhesive used to hold the sink in. I caulked mine just in case, I was already caulking the whole project anyways.

The vanity top will not come with the sink assembled or attached to it. I hope this is helpful. A: Correct. There is a small go between the bowl and the countertop. I caulked it, and it was no big deal.
