Q:Does anybody know what the actual wattage is? Its confusing and possible deceptive to say its 400-800 in the description, if its actully 250-500.

A:  I have a heater like this one and its draw is 400 and 800 watts. It will not heat a room, it heats objects nearby, encourages togetherness. My cats love it!
