Q:can i attach another one to make it longer to water more area ?

Answer This Question

A:  If you have enough water pressure you could add to it, however we do not recommend it because when you add more than three sprinklers to it you will not have a consistent even water flow.

Q:Does 'part circle' mean I can adjust it to half circles so I could put it along a sidewalk? Is it difficult to do so?

A:  Yardrookie, yes you can adjust the spray patterns to be half-circles. For more information on how to do so, please refer to our short video at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wcvqtg-o6l8&t. That video was made for a sprinkler that's used for an irrigation system, but the same principles for nozzle adjustment still apply.

Q:I went out to start up the system and one of the heads is gone -- no idea what happened. I went to HD for an Orbit 15a but they're not threaded on the bottom. How can I get a new head? We have 3 of these and absolutely love them but at this moment this one is non-functional with the missing head. Thanks in advance for your answer.

              A:  adjust the sprinkler nozzle

              by|May 4, 2023

A:  You may have to unscrew the base to remove the nozzle then adjust it. Once its out thoroughly rotate the adjustment nozzle several times to make sure its loose enough to adjust once you reinsert it. Reinsert the base, apply water to the unit and make adjustments as need. *Note you may have to fine tune the nozzle and water pressure to find the right balance.

Q:Can you add on to this system, if so, about how many ft.

A:  Yes. This unit has connections at both ends. I have not tried this myself however I would venture to say that you can connect as many units as you can provide adequate pressure for. The current system as is, is pretty lengthy. However do bare in mind that the all if not some of the nozzles may not perform very well so, if you're intent is to cover a larger area you may run into uncovered/inadequately areas.

A:  frank, you can add as much as you'd like. The only caution we'd leave with you is the resulting tradeoff. The longer your line, the lower your water pressure, which will result in shorter spray distances.

A:  Yes, you can and that's exactly what I ended up doing. Each sprinkler head has an input and output, so you can cap or add more hose as needed. Doesn't change the fact that the heads are not that good.

A:  It all really depends on your water pressure coming out of the faucet. you can add as many as you want but take in consideration that the longer the line is.. the last nozzle might not give out much water output. I would buy a water timer, Orbit sells good ones there are two, three or four outlets timers at The Home Depot that can be programmable and you don't even have to worry about watering your lawn. I would only put two of this Port-A-Rain together that will give you 6 Nozzle Heads combined. this would work better for just a flower area. For a larger area I use this they are pricey but they do a great job and Orbit / Model # 27907 / Internet # 100659307 / Store SKU # 898322 / Gear Drive Sprinkler

A:  You can't add on there is too much pressure loss through the small diameter hoses to support more than 3 sprinklers.
