A:  Yes, the Brisa unit can be installed inside your home for out-swinging doors. You may need the short model as you have selected. This unit would be a total, assembled height of 79".

A:  dark brown....not sure black is made. i would contact Brisa directly and they could tell you if it is available in black.

A:  mine is surface mounted to the outside. very easy for me as ithe cabin is wood exterior, which made mounting the screen very straightforward.
