by|Dec 22, 2022

Answer This Question

A:  There will margin flex in the fiberglass handle. If you are having to put so much pressure on it when digging up your roots that you are concerned, then maybe you should consider a steel crowbar or pinch bar

A:  Almost identical dimensionally, some big guys like to swing a 6lb and others the 5lb, In very hard ground the Penetration will be slightly better with the 6 lb. The handle is the same length on both.

Q:The product photo shows the black line on the handle being on the SIDE of the pick when inserted, whereas the shape of the black, bottom "join" end of the handle appears to only insert such that the black line will be on either the pick or mattock end. How is the handle supposed to fit on the head of the axe please?
            by|Oct 19, 2020
            1 Answer
            Answer This Question

A:  Just drop the head down over the handle and bang the black end down on a hard surface, The inside of the head is tapered and as such provides friction/interference fit with the black formed end. It makes absolutely no difference which side the black line on the handle faces, it is just the Nupla Trade Mark line.
