A:  Substitution of an LED for an incandescent bulb can be done if some guidelines are followed. Even by following these guidelines, the bulb may still have shorter than life or reduced light performance. First, bulb must be listed by a certification body (UL, CSA, ETL), and be marked suitable for enclosed fixtures. Second, bulb should be the same shape as an A19 (2.3/8” diameter x 4-3/8” maximum total length. Third, LED 19 watts max. A:  Thank you for your question. Unfortunately, a replacement motor for the original LS80L is no longer available. You will have to change the whole unit. I would consider model ARN80L. Like the LS80L, it's quiet. The housing dimensions are 10" x 9-1/4" x 5-3/4". The HD80NT is a 'heavy-duty fan'. It's mostly used in continuous operation situations, and it runs a higher sound level. A:  Thank you for your question. We did have a model 769RL at one time. I’m not certain this is the model you have in your home. The HD80LNT has a smaller housing. Parts are not interchangeable so the whole unit would have to be removed and replaced. I would suggest that you contact our Customer Service Department at 888-336-3948. Before you call, please gather as much information as possible. Look at the motor and write down anything you can see. Check the housing and get as much information as possible, then give us a call.
