Q:Can i mount this on a slightly sloping ceiling in screen porch?

A: The Hugger series fans can not be mounted on sloped ceiling, and they are only approved for an indoor installation. Even if the patio is covered, this is not an outdoor fan. They must be mounted on flat ceiling, not sloped.

Q:If i add a light kit will the height dimension change?

A: The light kit will hang down lower. If you have low ceilings, the hugger is a good idea. It only extends 7-3/4". Add the light kit, and you will add another 5-6". IF you have questions, dial 888-336-3948 and Customer Service can assist you. Thank you.
