A: Not sure! But it makes sense to do in person since they do need to verify your I.D in person rather than online.

A: No. Have to order the product and have it delivered to your nearest store. When you pick the item up ask Customer Service to re-write the bill to include your military discount.

A: I use mine with a pancake compressor & it works fine. It may cycle more, but operates all three. I use mine for smaller jobs, such as moldings . If you a lot of work you would want to go bigger.

A: The specifications call for Minimum Recommended Air Delivery SCFM 2.0 @ 90PSI and Minimum Recommended Operating Pressure (psi) of 60.
Pretty much any air compressor capable of over 120 psi will work. If you are looking to buy, the pancake style would be recommended as they are more portable, designed for nailers and are economical. The Porter-Cable 6 gallon sold at Home Depot for $99 would be fine in my opinion. Unless you are planning on using automotive air tools like an impact wrench or grinder you do not need a bigger tank. Or if you want to run more than one air hose at a time then you will need a bigger compressor with multiple outlets.
Regarding the nailers, I haven't used the 23 GA pin nailer yet but the 16 GA and 18 GA have worked great. I'm using the 16 GA for face nailing 3/4" hardwood flooring and the 18 GA for trim. No jams so far using DeWalt 16 GA and Porter-Cable 18 GA nails from my local Home Depot.

A: Looking at the manufacturers installation instructions, it appears they recommend different nails for different variations of their product. I recommend finding the instructions for your specific product and complying with the exact fastener recommended to avoid warranty issues down the road.
