A:  Yes this can be mounting on the trim. The drop and projection is based on window height. The 60" tall window would be a model #7 and have a 28" projection/32" drop, The 48" height is a model #6 with 24" projection/28" drop. You can go up or down a model # to meet your needs.

      A:  The window height would be a model #8 which has a 32" projection and 37" drop. We can not recommend a width since this is dependent on the installation so you will need to determine where you want the awning to attach to the house.

        A:  HD does not have an installation program. Try finding a vinyl sideing contractor or general handyman.
