Q:What is the 'latex backing' to hold the rug in place? I am looking to place this in a hallway with hardwood floors...will I need some type of pad underneath for grip?

    A:  I ordered a runner because specifications said it had a latex backing, but it does not. You will need to a gripping rug pad to keep in place.

            A:  Hello Lireca! Thank you for your interest in a Nourison product! This beautiful rug is part of our Graphic Illusions collection which has a high/low pile. The low pile is very dense and not plush at all. The high pile is plush, not a shag, but plush. We hope this helps!
