A:  Hi sassy. As long as the Brats or sausages are straight and can roll, you should be fine. This unit can provide enough heat to do the cooking. The problem comes when they cannot roll and are stuck in one spot where the Brat or sausages is more likely to just burn. Have fun cooking your delicious sounding Brats and sausages. A:  It takes 15-20 minutes depending on the type and size of hot dog. The thicker the dog, the longer it will take to cook through.
