Q:Last year I bought a wreath from this same company and discovered that the 6 hours on and 18 hours off did not mean 6 consecutive hours on and 18 consecutive hours off; it actually stayed lit for 1 hour and then was off for 3 hours and then back on for another hour, which did not make any sense, since who wants it on and off all night long? This year they are saying it is an "integrated" system, but that does not really explain how it works - will it be the same as before, or will it be on for 6 hours and then off 18 hours, or can you make adjustments in the on and off timing?

Answer This Question
A: It sounds like the first one you had was defective.
When we say integrated, we are saying there is no option for controlling the timer separately. Once the lights are switched on, the timer starts.
