A:  The main difference between the Tundra Classic and the Centipede is that the Centipede is a slightly lighter weight product. The Centipede is a 30 oz product and the Tundra is a 40 oz product, which results in the Tundra being a slightly denser product. Both are 1 1/4 inch pile height and have the same backing. Regarding which would be a better option for pets, really either or would be suitable. If a heavier breed pet, I may suggest the Tundra being that it is a heavier weight product. That would be a variable that may contribute to one style being more optimal than the other. Otherwise, both the Tundra and the Centipede would be good choices and manufactured to withstand any pet byproducts that comes along with pets utilizing the artificial grass area.

There are also dye lot variances. Much like carpet, artificial grass has a dye lot. I do not believe that the rolls in the store are labeled with a dye lot number. The grass can be close, however, without a dye lot number, it will not be an exact match. We can do a customized order to match the dark green or light green, however, it will not be an exact match due to the dye lot. We recommend you check www.tundragrass.com for further information.
