Q:I am ordering this runner for my stairs but wonder if a pad is advisable? Will it wear better with or without it. I have finished wood stairs.
Many thanks!

A: Whether or not the runner has a pad underneath has no affect as to how the runner will wear; it really is up to how you like it.
