A:  It has not been cold enough to give a good idea. about 35 degrees is as cold as it has been. The light works well. It is pretty sensitive to tree limbs that are close when the wind blows. I had to trim so tree limbs.

A:  Unscrew the head. You can remove the light from the mounting bracket by loosening the screw on the side. This is a great buy. I’ve had mine up for over two years and changed the batteries once.

A:  You can see in the picture above there is a black arrow. When locked the unit will not open just twist the unit to the unlock position and remove the unit from the base. The batteries are housed within the unit in a holder. Simply open the holder remove the old batteries or if a new unit insert the new batteries and slide the unit back into the holder and twist to the locked position.

A:  The front cover screws off and you install the batteries.

                by|Jun 22, 2019

A:  You twist the top cover off and it has a casing attached to it. You slip the batteries into the casing and twist the top back on. The bottom piece is hollow and only serves as a base to hold the light fixture and batteries.

A:  Hi Jerry! I would recommend putting the batteries in the unit, then placing it in a dark and motionless room for 10 minutes to reset the sensors. If that doesn't work, please feel free to contact us at customerservice@mrbeams.com or call 877-298-9082 opt 1 . Thanks!

A:  I would say that water got into it and it's shorting out. You can try to dry to dry it out with hair dried or let it set with batteries out and open for a few day, put batteries in an try again, if not replace it.

A:  Two batteries have the plus facing up and one facing down. Unlike incandescent bulbs the LED’s don’t function with voltage drops due to reversed batteries. The one with the + sign facing down will correspond to the location that has a spring on soldered to the cover. Good luck Ps. Could be a bum LED circuit if battery placement is good.

A:  Hi Jerry, I'm sorry it took so long to reply, as I didn't realize that there was a question. I've never encountered the issue that you're having. I did have one where the sensor failed completely though. Mine would go On and Off, constantly. Even with Brand New batteries installed. The only thing that I can possibly suggest, is to make sure the terminals where Batteries make contact are as clean as possible. Good Luck. T. B.

                                                                  by|May 5, 2023

Hold it in place temporarily using duct tape. After curing in good weather, the newly adhered block could hold the light with screws. It is light enough.

                                                                    by|Nov 7, 2018

                                                                      by|May 5, 2023

This particular unit's base does require the screws to mount it into the wall.Im afraid double sided tape will not hold it up. The unit can stand on its own though and not be mounted if there is a place in the corner of your mobile home for it. Give us a call and we can attempt to help find some other solutions for you, like perhaps the stick anywhere light instead of a spotlight which can brighten that corner up for you as well. 877-298-9082, I look forward to hearing from you.
