Q:Do you sell just the brackets for this same type? My current bracket broke somehow on the tip of where the second rod goes through and just need a replacement without fully purchasing a new rod and all.

A:  I believe four. Because of the curtains that I have they’re very heavy and I wanted five brackets so I ordered two sets to cover two sets of windows I have. The reason why I chose these brackets because they’re heavier duty than anything I’ve seen out there I put them up two years ago and they’ve been working great.

A:  Yes, both rods are sturdy and capable of holding thermal curtains. I have heavy curtains and the rods are sturdy!

A:  I currently have very heavy 96” velvet panels on the larger and light filtering on smaller. I tried to hit studs on install so they wouldn’t pull out. Hit and miss with that, but they’ve held great for me. I don’t know why that wouldn’t work unless you don’t get any studs and you are heavily opening and closing pulling on them. Hope that’s helpful

A:  Yes, we have roomdarkening curtainson the rods we ordered

                by|Feb 16, 2022

A:  I think it would depend on the weight.  I have black out curtains, which are heavy, on the larger rod and light weight shears on the smaller rod.  I really don't know if the smaller rod could handle a heavy curtain.  Additionally, you will need to keep an eye on the screws that hold the rods in place as they loosen up and I had one rod with the heavy curtain come down on my head when I was moving the curtains.  The screws need to be checked frequently to make sure that they haven't loosened up.

A:  Yes. That’s what I’ve used mine for.
