A: Since the mirror clips stick out, you can't run the mirrored strip directly over he clip, so stick it to the top of mirror glass. I painted the top of the 2 clips that showed and it doesn't look bad at all. It may be to replace the mirror braces if need to look less obvious.

A: You don’t cover the mirror clips, that covers the joints for the mirredge strips. It’s the finish for it and the mirredge when done right looks amazing. It gives the old simple
Mirror a whole New look for sure!

A: You can so long as the framing strip edge is perfectly straight.

A: I would NOT suggest doing it that way. I would put the mirror strips on the mirror from edge to edge. Then place the corner pieces at the corners on top of the strips. This will give it a more finished look.

A: Yes. I did not because the strips did not break off with a clean straight edge.

A: Yes you can. Cut it nice and square so it has contact.

A: Yes you can cut them to the length you need. You score it and they snap easily. Our mirror looks so much better now.

A: I doubt it. The outer edges are beveled and the material is hard and thick.

A: I had no reason to cut mine, but there is a you tube video illustrating the method for cutting glass tile which would suffice; they are scored on the back and then tapped to break off the unwanted portion!

A: Acrylic Mirror Corner Plates are not designed to be cut. Acrylic Mirror Framing Strips can be cut to size using a utility razor knife. Instructions available at www.mirredge.com .

A: Yes, they could be cut. However I would not recommend it. The corner plates are sized to fit over the mirror strips and the edges line up as they should. Cutting may cause them to look less finished. The picture is a little deceptive because both sides are the same width as the mirror strips. Not sure why cutting would be necessary in a normal application.

A: I would not think it necessary to paint a mirror, although you may get paint to adhere to it if you desire solid corners versus mirror corners

A: Acrylic mirror may not hold paint too well. You would be better off trying to paint the Wood Grain Finish MirrEdge using a primer / color mixture.
