Answer This Question
A: Thank you for reaching out! Yes, our Miracle Sealants H2O Plus Sealer may be applied to bare Saltillo tile. This is a subsurface sealer, and cannot be built up on the surface of the tile. In order for the sealer to cure properly, all excess sealer must be buffed from the surface using a lint-free rag after allowing it to penetrate the surface for 3-5 minutes. - Rust-Oleum Product Support 2

Answer This Question
A: Thank you for reaching out! To ensure proper performance of Rust-Oleum Miracle Sealants 511 H2O Plus Sealer, the product must be applied to a completely dry surface. The surface must be kept dry and free from staining materials for 72 hours after application. Depending on how close the tile is to the waterline, the waterline may need to be lowered while the sealer cures.

Q:We have new porcelain tile that is pre-sealed. However it?s really difficult to clean and keep clean. Can sealer be apply over pre-sealed tile and will it be easier to clean?

Answer This Question
A: Happy to help Chris. Miracle Sealants H2O+ Water Based Sealer is a penetrating sealer, if the porcelain tile has a film forming sealer, Miracle Sealants cannot be applied, since it will be unable to penetrate the tile. If the sealer is not film forming, Miracle Sealants H2O+ can be applied. Apply the sealer as directed on the label, allow to remain on the surface for 3-5 minutes. After that time, wipe off all excess sealer with a clean cloth. Do not allow the sealer to dry on the surface.
