A:  You could hang it vertically, but think it through as the light fixture will effectively block out the light on either the right or left side of the room depending on which side you have the globes facing. I have mine hung horizontally with the globes facing downward and it brightens the entire room. I know of one person who hung it horizontally with the globes facing upwards and it worked for them but they admitted the room's lighting was a little off.

A:  This fixture is only to be hung with the glass facing down. The reason is that the glass will not hang straight when displayed vertical. Thanks
