A: I think the first answer to this query is incorrect, and I think the specs on this site are correct that this will take up to a 150 watt bulb. I checked two other sites that sell this same fixture at the same price with the same brand name and the same measurements and those site specs also say it accepts a 150 watt bulb.

As long as its not greater then a 21 degree ceiling. Total maximum length of fixture is 54"
