A:  It takes a micro USB charging cord like on your Phone I also charge mine with the phone charger in my vehicle occasionally you can also take the battery off And put it in the standard M12 Milwaukee charger I have extra batteries and that's how I do mine

A:  In general spare lithium batteries can be carried on to airplanes. They can NOT be in checked bags (no way to stop a fire if they get damaged). Check with your airline and TSA for size or other limitations.
