A: Yes, mine is hanging on the wall In my garage.
A: Yes you could wall mount it but I recommend removing the battery and also using a heavy duty wall mount.
A: Yes, there is a teardrop shaped hole on the bottom side for hanging on a nail or screw.
A: Yes.
A: Yes, Ive been hang mine in my garage wall for over a year it works great and stores fine.
A: Yes, I wall mount mine.
A: Yes, I have mine hanging from a hook on a wall rack hook system.
A: Yes, I have mine off a double hook, the handlebar rests on the hooks
A: Not sure about "climbing rose bushes," but an awesome product which I've had for over a year. But cherry hedges and work goes by quickly and beautifully. It's a trimmer. If you've used one on those things before you know. This is just top of line tool to do the same job. Good luck. No regrets.
A: This hedge shear will cut branches up to 3/4". I've done well over 500' of hedge ona single 5.0ah pack. I'm sure a climbing rose would be no match for this machine. I'm very pleased with mine.
A: I do not have any climbing rose bushes but have had success using this trimmer to aggressively cutback knock out rose bushes in late winter/early spring followed by hand pruning with shears. This trimmer works well also with thick ornamental grasses and Hydrangea (Endless Summer) shrubs.
A: Not a problem. Cuts smoothly
A: it should work with no problem
A: I dont know what "climbing" rose bushes are but it could definitely handle the rose bush that was in my yard along with every other bush or plant or small tree branches in the yard
A: As long as it is not too thick (3/4) will work great.
A: slices 3/4" branches like butter
A: I've used it on wild roses which are similar and very tough and woody. It has no problems with those. I use it on a wild edge of my property where wild roses, sawbriars (very tough), briars (blackberries) and other things try to encroach. I just wak down the line with it every now and then and top it off then turn it vertical and trim back the whole wild mess. It makes quick work of it.
A: Yes this will prune them
A: Not sure. I had a 9ah and trimmed off and on for a couple hours and still had some battery life.
A: a long time!
A: up to 2 hours on the 9.0 depending on the thickness of the branches, the 5.0 will be lower run time
A: I did over 500' of hedge on a single charge
A: I've used the trimmer with 5ah battery several times for a period of 2 to 2-1/5 hours and the battery did not need recharging. I did recharge the battery at the end of the day even though it still had sufficient power to use again
A: An hour or so of straight trimming
A: Not sure on the 5ah. I ran a 12ah for half the day cutting threw black berry vines with it and still had more than half a battery at the end.
A: A few hours.
A: I have 2ah batteries and I trimmed for at least 15 minutes and still going.
A: for real small job. 9ah would be better.
A: Yes it sure will
A: Yes, will work with any variation of the M18 family of 18 volt batteries.
A: Yes
A: Yes it will. I currently use a 9.0 Ah battery in mine.
A: yes, this will take the M-18 12.0 battery
A: Yes it will
A: Yes, this tool is compatible with M18 , 12.0 Ah battery.
A: yes they are all interchangeable
A: All Milwaukee M-18 tools and M-18 batteries are interchangeable, the only case were the larger batteries might not fit would be when the battery fits into the tool case. When the tool is a little dated made before the M18 - 12.0 batteries the case opening would be configured for a smaller battery. I have an M-18 lantern the M18 – 12.0 battery does not fit but the M18 – 9.0 batteries just fits. I use the M18 – 9.0 batteries in the hedge trimmer on 6’-0” hedges at that height after an hour the tool starts to feel heavy I would not use the weightier 12.0 battery. The 9.0 battery has enough power to last a 100’ of hedges with power left over. JOL
A: Yes, all M18s are interchangeable
A: Yes, will operate with any m18 pack. Might feel a little tail heavy with that large of a pack. But it should run it all day!
A: Rich, I use the basic M18 Red Lithium-Ion XC Battery that came with the Drill-Impact & 6-1/2" circular saw and would assume the additional amperage of 12 amp battery would allow for a longer duty cycle. I'm pretty sure all M18 Milwaukee Batteries have the same bayonet mount. I've been pleased with the trimmer for the last two years.
A: Yes
A: Yes. This machine works with ALL M18 packs
A: Yes it will
A: Yes, will work with any variation of the M18 18-Volt battery.

A: yes
A: Yes
A: yes, M18 Fuel batteries fit
A: Hi Sal Try the battery in another tool. If it is defective then you know the problem. If it is not the battery then it might be the switch. It's an easy fix if you want to do it. Otherwise your local home depot can advise on where to get it fixed. But be sure to get it going because it's a great hedge trimmer. I can do my whole hedge (120 feet!) on less than one full charge!
A: If the motor isnt trying to work, you probably need to send it in for warranty work. If the motor is working and the blades are jammed, you may have to oil or clean them out or send it for warranty work.
A: if less than 30 days old return to point of purchase, or contact Customer Service at 1.800.729.3878 for further instructions
A: Jammed from inside there is a 5 year warranty I believe
A: If all other things are as you say, good battery and no previous issues with the trimmer, it is possible that during the course of normal use prior you have allowed sap from the either the bushes or hedges you trimmed to accumulate on the blades without cleaning them off when finished. That sap build up could be enough to actually lock the tool up from operation. No worries through: just apply a little WD40 along with some elbow grease and things should loosen up enough to break the blades free. I have been using mine for over a year now without any issues. After a day of trimming I spray the blades down and store it hanging up.
A: Contact your local Home Depot for stock questions. You do have the option of ordering from HomeDepot.com.
A: I bought mine in store, go to the garden section by their other trimmers
A: Can't answer your question except to say I got mine as a bare tool add on with my weed eater and glad I did, opted to buy the additional battery, ordered them on line through Home Depot, both are exceptional tools, at least as good as corded counter parts, I really am impressed, these are no slouch tools and the 9 amp batteries last, I saw on you tube Milwaukee makes a chain saw with a 12 amp battery, interchangeable between tools, hope they carry that !
A: It all depend upon where you are located as to which products are stocked in the store or not. For example in northern Indiana where I am the Milwaukee M18 string trimmer and blower are stock items whereas the hedge trimmer is not. Shipping from HD.com is great though, and if there is an issue with a product then returns are equally as easy.
A: It is available in Greensboro GA.

A: Unsure about replacement blades, but they can be sharpened.
A: the 42.26.0023 blade assembly is offered as a service part item.
A: Just take the whole unit into a saw blade sharpening shop and they will take the blades off and sharpen them, I sharpen them myself on a belt sander. For the home owner a set of blades will last for years.
