Answer This Question
A: It does, but not sure why you'd need to. The batteries have plenty of torque even when low. This is a light duty tool so I don't think it's intended to go all day on a job.

Q:Can the 1/4 chuck hold and lock in 1 inch bits without a magnetic bit holder?

Answer This Question
A: I don't believe that it will lock as most 1 inch bits don't have the groove that the 'chuck' needs to lock.

Answer This Question
A: Not that I can recall. Over time I've collected a variety of bits with various lengths and drive types and already had them on hand. There are some really inexpensive variety packs of driver bits available so you may want to start with something like that.

Q:how much torque is applied at each of the torque settings?
ie. #1 = 10inlbs, #2 = 20inlbs etc.
by|Apr 2, 2019

Answer This Question
A: It's my understanding that those number are relative, not set to mean any specific torque specification.
From the Milwaukee web-site: 15 + 1 clutch settings prevent over tightening fasteners, and 175 in-lbs. of torque provides the ability to accomplish tough applications.

A: There is a table in the owner's manual that indicates this for a full battery charge. #2=4 in lbs to start and each setting increases about 3 in lbs until you get to #14 which = 41. Drill = 120.

A: I cannot answer in units of inlbs.
However, I assemble furniture for people...the lower settings prevent over tightening screws in particle board, and the max setting has enabled me to screw in 4in screws in solid wood.
Also, the charge in battery lasts a long time; I would estimate over 500 screws per charge.
