        Answer This Question

Q:Can I use this hole saw to cut through a kitchen stainless steel sink?

          Answer This Question

A:  We do not recommend using the MILWAUKEE® 5/16" Diamond MAX™ Hole Saw for stainless steel as it is designed to cut tile, stone, and glass. We recommend using the HOLE DOZER™ with Carbide Teeth Hole Saw as the carbide teeth hole saws provide the longest life in general purpose and extreme materials with the ability to cut through stainless steel, cast iron, fastener embedded wood, cement board, fiberglass, plaster, asphalt shingles, and more with ease. - Milwaukee Tool, Social Team

Q:From the picture, how is the 1-3/8 in Diamond Max hole saw attached to the drill? Looks like it is missing an arbor for hole saw. Do I need to buy an arbor?

                Answer This Question

A:  This is sold for people who already have an arbor, so yes, you will need to buy an arbor separately. I believe *most* hole saw arbors are universal. So if you already have an arbor for another brand, it *should* work.

                by|Jan 24, 2023

A:  You are correct. You will need to purchase the arbor seperate or buy a set which comes with an arbor.
