Q:How are the attachments held onto the buffer? It looks like it’s threaded. Is it a standard thread? I have some 1/4” round shank angled die grinder sanders and attachments: will they work with this unit? If I could use them somehow, I’d have to get this buffer.

A: The main pad screws onto the shaft of the drill. Everything else is held on with Velcro. It’s fine thread. The shaft that screws into the drill but it is on the polishing pad. The buffing pad is held on with Velcro. I don’t think so there is no shaft on the drill.

A: Sadly, non-standard. 9mm. So nothing made for auto detailing orbitals or rotary buffers will work. Big miss by Milwaukee here

A: The question is a lot like “How many miles will I get per gallon?” and that really depends on what car you are driving. M12 battery’s run time depends a lot on what M12 tool you are using. If I place the same battery on M12 drill/driver then my run time is a lot more.
With this polisher, I am getting about 10 minutes of run time per battery.
