Q:Does the jacket fit true-to-size? Or would you suggest ordering a size bigger?
by|Jan 24, 2016

Answer This Question

A:  I first ordered a ladies jacket, and it ran small and felt too restrictive. I then ordered a men's, and preferred the more generous cut. The jacket has straps secured by Velcro at the wrists, so the sleeves didn't fall down my hand. I normally wear a ladies XL, but ordered the jacket in a men's large, and love the fit. It is a bit more generous in the body, and yet the shoulders and arm length is good.

Q:Is the jacket real thick or is it more like a heavier sweat shirt?
    by|Jan 12, 2016
    1 Answer
    Answer This Question

A:  The jacket can be warn without the battery and battery holder elements making it function as a regular jacket. As far as being able to use it on cool summer nights, the jacket may be a bit too warm for any weather you will likely encounter during the summer in the lower peninsula. It would be useful for brisk nights in the upper peninsula but only if you like to be hot.

        Answer This Question

A:  Flashing red and green lights on our chargers is the charger telling you that the battery is defective or broken. Depending on when the battery was purchased and what type of battery it is, it may be covered by our manufacture warranty. Contact 1-800-SAWDUST for more details.

Q:Is the front supposed to be as warm as the back? Because on high the front is not nearly as warm as the back

            Answer This Question

A:  I've found with mine that it fits more snugly in the front than the back so the front is warmer. I realized this one day when I lifted my arms over my head and got a blast of heat as the back pulled tighter on me.

A:  I place them on gentle cycle, and just wash, then lay out to dry. I would be careful if you don't have a HE washer, that the coat would get wrapped around the agitator, you wouldn't want to ruin the wiring in the coat. They actually wash up pretty well.
