Please keep in mind that we encourage ordering 10% more than your calculated amount to assure that you order enough tile to account for cutting, future repairs and dye lot and caliber consistency. Also, it is always great to have a couple extra laying around the house in the event of a future project or damages down the road. We offer samples of this tile adhered to 4.5” x 5” sample cards, offering a color and texture sample, not a look at the whole tile. To see the whole tile, we recommend ordering a pack on this product page. Home Depot offers a 90-day return policy on all unused items returned in the full quantity that they are sold (for these, by the case). Please note that variation in color, shade and texture are inherent characteristics of glass, glazed tile and stone. The actual material received may vary from this sample. A:  Hi Penny, This tile would be great as a kitchen countertop! This tile is a PEI (Porcelain Enamel Institute) 4, meaning that it has high resistance to abrasion and is suitable for heavy-duty residential and commercial floor installations such as entrances, commercial kitchens, hotels, exhibition and sales rooms with some dirt conditions. Kitchen countertops will not experience the same wear as these other locations. This tile is glazed, so water or other contaminants will not stain the tile when cleaned up within a suitable amount of time. Using a sealer will help further prevent stains. A:  Good Afternoon, The Lisse White has a low sheen (matte) finish, so you will want a low sheen bullnose to match. There are no bullnoses that are directly intended to coordinate with this product. The only matte white bullnoses that we offer are the Metro Bullnose Matte White http://thd.co/1TRn6rr and the Hexatile Matte Blanco http://thd.co/25CFSZ9. The Hexatile Matte Blanco has gray tones in the white, so you may not feel as though it matches. Please be advised that since they are not intended to coordinate, the color will not be exactly the same. Another suggestion we always recommend is Schluter Trim http://thd.co/1qBLqjw. A:  Good Afternoon, This tile is not a through-body tile. If the tile was to chip or crack, the color would not be the same as the glaze. However, since the tile is porcelain and is made from white-bodied clay, this would not be terribly noticeable, especially from a distance.
