A:  Hi! All ceramic and porcelain tiles are made from natural clay which may contain minerals that have silicon dioxide. Silicon dioxide poses a health risk if inhaled as dust is created when dry cutting tile with a saw. There is no health risk when the tiles are inert (not being cut/worked with), and no risk post-installation.
