A:  I bought it almost a year ago but I am pretty sure it comes with screws. I don't recall having to look for any. You definitely want a flat head as you would rip up your hands while gripping the bar.

Q:At 16", are the mounts set to hit the wall studs?

              Answer This Question

A:  Yes, if you mount it horizontally. If you position it at an angle, as I did for my father’s bathroom, you will need to use some type of “moly” bolt or other device that has a high pullout strength.

                Answer This Question

A:  If possible i would recommend attaching them on a stud but if that would not be possible dry wall anchors would be needed to install them.
