A:  Down here in Florida, we typically all have a propane tank (no natural gas). This unit came set up for natural gas with everything you need (including instructions) to convert it to propane. I had to do this before installing it, and it all works perfectly. You need to change the pressure regulator under the unit and all the little "eyelets" in the burners where the gas comes through need to be swapped out for the liquid propane (LP). It's all stainless steel so I can't see why you couldn't use it outside.
