A: Nabil, we recommend going to your local retailer and asking them for a 40 watt appliance bulb. This will replace the old one in your Refrigerator.

Q:This is supposed to be a frost free refrigerator. But there is a thick sheet of ice under the freezer wire bins.

Answer This Question
A: The condenser coils behind the panel are frosted over because the thermistor has failed not allowing it to defrost the coils. If you take the plastic panel off in the freezer you can defrost the coils with a steam machine or heat gun. There is also a replacement drain update.

A: DriveStarkNaked,
The ice maker is fairly easy to uninstall if you would like to. Also, you will have the option on the ice maker to turn it off/on, you can leave it in the off position and it will not run. Thank you for viewing this Maytag home appliance.

A: By installing it on the water line to the frig.

A: You can not install a water filter within the appliance, however you can add an inline water filter. This filter would install along the water line to the appliance. Checkout Model # 4378411RB. Thank you for viewing this Maytag home appliance.

A: I'd suggest that you might try attaching an external 'in-line' filtration unit to the existing source of the water supply.... I hope this helps... ELOUISE

Q:how do I change the thermostat to a value higher than 7. Seems all the fruit is frozen at '7' ?

Answer This Question
A: The numbers on the unit only go up to 7. Seven being the coldest. 6 the next coldest...etc. Why they don't have a number that would indicate the temperature (either F or C), only Maytag can answer. But that would be the best way to have it. So if 7 is too cold....try 6 and then so on.????

Q:Can I Lock The Wheels To Prevent Sliding

Answer This Question
A: Yes. Use a wrench to screw the wheels to the floor.

A: Anonymous,
You can raise the legs a little higher and it will typically stop the wheels from moving or at least keep them in place. Also, as the refrigerator fills with food, it gets heavier and the tendency to move will minimize. I hope you find this information helpful.
