A:  The condenser coils behind the panel are frosted over because the thermistor has failed not allowing it to defrost the coils. If you take the plastic panel off in the freezer you can defrost the coils with a steam machine or heat gun. There is also a replacement drain update.

A:  Yes you can by disconnecting and removing the ice maker. Or don't connect it to the water supply.

A:  Yes, remove the hinge on top and lift the door off, Bottom drawer front lifts up and out.

A:  The numbers on the unit only go up to 7. Seven being the coldest. 6 the next coldest...etc. Why they don't have a number that would indicate the temperature (either F or C), only Maytag can answer. But that would be the best way to have it. So if 7 is too cold....try 6 and then so on.????

A:  Yes. Use a wrench to screw the wheels to the floor.

A:  Anonymous, You can raise the legs a little higher and it will typically stop the wheels from moving or at least keep them in place.
