Q:Why does your product description indicate that the lights can be installed facing either up or down? A question to this effect on Maxim's own website indicates that the product can only be installed facing up. Moreover, I lived in a unit with two of these fixtures installed improperly (facing down) and regularly had the heavy cubes falling down, nearly striking people in the process. Please update your description - it is dangerous.

A: Hello, thank you for your inquiry. This fixture requires (3) G9 bi-pin base, T4 shaped xenon bulbs, with a maximum wattage of 50 watts per bulb. These bulbs are fairly standard and can be purchased at The Home Depot or any other hardware store of your choosing. Thank you
