A: Jonnyk, There should be 10 stakes that come with the 40' terrace board edging. Please place every 4 feet for optimal performance of our terrace board. Please let me know if you have any more questions. Thank you. Melanie @Avon Plastics

A: Good Morning Libby,
Thank you for your question. A small tooth saw or hack saw will do the trick. A sharp pair of tin snips will do the job.
Let me know if you have any further questions.

Q:Can say a 36 inch piece of terrace board be bent into a circle and then the ends ?stapled? together to form a ring to put around a small plant? Or would the two sides pressed together be too tough for a staple gun and require instead a nut and bolt?

A: Good Morning Carl,
Thank you for your question. I would recommend using a Terrace Board Stake to hold the ends together. Any other means of attaching the ends may compromise the integrity of the product. Here is the link for the stake at Home Depot, https://www.homedepot.com/p/Master-Mark-Terrace-Board-Stakes-in-Black-20-Pack-99402/203504235 Let me know if this helps.

A: yes real easy

A: Probably too tough to staple together. If you really want to you can use a nut and bolt or just press the sides together and use the stakes to keep them in place.
by|Apr 27, 2023
A: The plastic although bendable is too thick for staple. You could super glue it together. Nut bolt will not look good, but it is a personal preference.

A: It would be too tough for an average stapler. A bolt might be necessary.
by|Apr 25, 2023
A: If the staple is long enough that you can bend the ends then it may hold. I think that a small nut/bolt would be better as you have suggested.

A: Can't say as I haven't put it to that test, but I've had it in place multiple locations on the property for 2 years and no visible degradation is present.

A: Good Morning Mandy,
The Master Mark Terrace Board is meant to have a slight trench dug in before you place the board in your designed area. I have included the how to video to help you out with determining if this is the correct edging for your needs. Click on the link or copy and paste in URL: https://a.co/d/3tStw35

A: It should be dug in with a straight shovel to make the trench. Then when in place, use a rubber mallet to hammer the anchors into the ground.

Q:Are longer stakes available for this product? I have used this Terrace board previously and find that with the freezing and thawing of the ground, they tend to come up and get loose.

A: MFG does have longer stakes available. But when mine get loose, I just move them a few inches away, and hammer them back into solid ground.
