A: The picture of M/F is correct, but it is more of a T than a Y
they make other models for different flow directions.

A: The ends are as pictured, but the photo is not accurate. The Y shown is at about a 45 degree angle, but what you get is more like a 70 degree angle, hindering airflow. So, if you have measured and calculated your airflow based on the photo shown, you won't get it.

A: If you require the crimps to be on the other ends, look for a hvac wye. The crimps are in the direction of the air flow.
