Q:Is it me?? When you look at the pictures of the left handed and right handed options, don't they have the pictures reversed? Both pictures are shown from the perspective of looking at the door from the INSIDE of the room. So the left handed picture should show the hinges on the right side of the picture rather than the left? and on the right handed picture it should show the hinges on the left hand side of the picture rather than the right? I thought I knew exactly what inswing/outswing and lefthanded/righthanded meant until I started looking at the pictures...

A: Hello Mike interior doors from the outside of the room ,are determined by the hinges. Interior pre-hung doors do not have sills so they do not come in outswing only handing. When you need an outswing door your just swing the pre-hung door around .

A: the lock and hinges are on the other side of the door from a left handed door.
as you enter a residence from the outside, the door should swing inwards. if the hinges are on the the right side its a right handed door. if they are on the left side its a left handed door. if the door opens outwards it is a "reverse" door, so if the hinges are on the right as you enter and the door swings out its a right-hand-reverse door.
doors for businesses tend to open outwards for fire code.
rough opening size should be 1" taller and 2" wider than the door size. the door should have a 1/8" gap top and sides when closed.
