A:  Bought this door online and wanted to pick up at my local store 1 mile away. 2 hours after I placed the order I discovered it would not come to my local store but to the downtown New Orleans location. The day it came it I went to pick up and the customer service dept was understaffed and when I got service I asked if I could inspect the item and the employee said it would be boxed and not able to inspect, however when they returned with item it was not boxed. I looked it over as quickly as I could and did not see the cracked glass. As I rolled out to car a man approached and said he would help me load it, I thought he was an employee but he was actually a homeless person looking for a few bucks.. Not till later that night did I discover the cracked glass. I went to my local HD and asked what could be done. I was told I would have to return to the downtown New Orleans Central location and it would have to be sent back, then they would replace it and it would take another six weeks to get a replacement. I have chose to keep the door as is with crack, and now go to other stores to continue the remodeling I am doing. I was also advised never purchase online from HD for such products and I won't again.
