A:  I have put so many doors in through the years and what I remember most about this installation was I had to cut an inch and a half off the bottom and framing. I also did not want the typical brickmold for this particular application. I do not remember removing it and I had no holes to fill. This turned out to be the best door I have ever hung.

A:  In my case I needed an eight inch door jam because the application was in a masonry wall. So I added the necessary material to make it fit nicely in the rough opening I had to work with.
