Q:Does this saw allow me to change the angle the plate enters the cut zone so that I can cut and bevel plate at the same time? If not, is their a different model or different brand that would allow me to do this?

A: No. It can only 'chop' straight down. A saw that can be set to cut at two angles to produce a 'bevel' cut, is known as a 'Compound Angle' saw. I doubt there is such a saw for cutting metal using the abrasive wheel method. There are plenty of brands designed to cut timber at a bevel.
