A:  No, it's a mechanical timer the ends with a gentle "Ding!".

A:  No, this unit is a counter-top microwave. Should not be installed over the range.

A:  No. We are building a shelf above our stove to hold this microwave.

A:  it is sorta hard to do that for that exact time but you can guesstimate

A:  No the dial is rather primitive and you have no idea how many seconds are being set.

A:  This unit will only go up in minute increments. It will not allow you to select seconds.

A:  No. It has an old-fashioned (retro) twist mechanical time with a 0-35 minute range.

A:  The dial is graduated in minutes. The best you could do is possibly 30 second increments.

A:  This unit needs about 5 inches of clearance on the sides and back of the unit to properly ventilate.

A:  Practically, about 2-3 inches of space on either side. There are no ventilation holes in the top.

A:  The turntable is 9 and 1/2". My largest plate can fit inside is 10 and 1/2". It closes and turns without an issue and I wouldn't go beyond that size.

A:  No, the largest plate it will accommodate would be 10 inches, possibly 10-1/2 inches at the very most.

A:  No. The max size plate would be about 9.5 inches.

A:  There is no clicking for the timer knob; however, there are numbers up to 35 minutes with 30-second markings as well. The lower dial is the timer and the upper dial is for heat level. Note: The minutes are indicated in regular numerals, while the power levels are indicated in Roman numerals.

A:  Smooth turning. You have to look at the dial to see the time. After a while you know where to place the dial for approximately 1, 2, or 3 minutes without looking at the numbers.

A:  It will not click into each minute, it will be a smooth turning.

A:  The timer knob is a smooth movement to an approximate position. The timing is not critical due to the max capacity being 700 watts.

A:  Smooth transition. There is no clicking on the time dial. I am pretty sure there is a click setting on the top dial to control temperature.
