Q:Does this tile have to be sealed every year or just after installation?

Answer This Question
A: When working around outlets or switches during tile installation, prioritize safety and precision. Begin by turning off the power to the outlets or switches at the breaker box to avoid electrical hazards. Measure and mark the location of the outlet or switch on the tile carefully. Use a tile saw or tile nipper to cut the tile to fit around the outlet or switch accurately, ensuring a snug fit. Take your time to make precise cuts, as mistakes could lead to improper fitting or tile damage. Test the fit before proceeding with installation. Finally, secure the tile in place using adhesive or mortar, ensuring the outlet or switch remains accessible for future use. Thank you for your interest in MSI Alaska Gray Ledger Panel 6 in. x 24 in. Q:While grouting can I swipe across these tiles to fill my lines? or are they Porous and will absorb the grout color? What's the best way to grout these?
by|Jan 26, 2024
1 Answer
Answer This Question
A: Please avoid swiping across marble tiles during grouting due to their porous nature, as this can lead to grout color absorption. Opt for diagonal grout application with a rubber float for consistent coverage in the lines. After setting, use a damp sponge to remove excess grout. Refer to the manufacturer's guidelines for comprehensive installation instructions, ensuring optimal results. Thank you for your interest in MSI Henley Hexagon 12 in. x 12 in.
