A:  I can tell you I am not a happy camper. The Jack appears to be well manufactured, but I bought it to use on a 2008 Harley Ultra Classic, and the Jack simply doesn't go low enough to slip under both sides! It appears the Jack simply doesn't go to full flat position due to the cross brace which separates the "H" frame that the bike frame would sit upon. If the cross piece were not as long as it is..mayne 3/8" shorter?.. The lifting rails could move inside of the front wheels, this allowing it to sink to a lower height. As it is, I don't know whether to try modifying it, or send it back. I honestly don't know if this is how it was designed, or if I just got one that was built poorly.

A:  Thanks, but I was interested in its minimum (fully down) height. The minimum height is 5.25" Put another way, the vehicle to be lifted must have at least 5.25" clearance from the ground.
