A: It is described in the product description. I would suggest it is a lot cost effective to get a extra case if you are new to this job or if the total space coverage is not certain.
32 sq. ft. per box, 4 pieces per case. Case weight is 32 lb.

Q:Would it help soundproof a room?

Answer This Question
A: Unfortunately, no. Its smooth (non-porous) surface offers no sound absorbing capability. Also, as for soundproofing, it depends on what level you are pursuing with.
It could be easy as soundproofing sponge or serious sound control room.

A: Wouldn’t think so.
by|Sep 6, 2019
A: These tiles will not aid in sound proofing. They are smooth and hard which tends to reverb sound and not deaden it.

A: I have them in a small bathroom in a shower and they’ve held up. They have a nice “coating” to them and don’t seem porous, unlike the school-like, typical basement ones that were in my bathroom to begin with. I love the look as well.

A: Not sure I’d use these in a heavy moisture area.
by|May 2, 2019
A: I believe so. I picked these for a client who has a damp basement, and I believe on the description of the panel it says it's moisture resistant.

A: These tiles are quite large so not sure how they would look in a small room. We installed these in a finish basement which is not climate control ( humid at times) and so far we have not had a problem. Not sure how they would hold up in a small bathroom with a shower. May want to check with the company.

A: Not likely, they are made of MDF type material and would probably swell in a moist area.

A: Each tile covers 8 sq. ft. And there were 4 tiles in each package. These tiles give a very nice finished look. I painted the grid black before installing the tiles and it added a very rich look. I hope this helps.

A: There are four pieces per case.

Answer This Question
A: It sits pretty much flush with the grid. The decorative work on the panels is not very deep, maybe less than a 1/16”

A: Sits flush with the grids
by|May 5, 2023
A: No this tile actually sat inside of an existing grid that my client had in their basement. So you will see the the tapered design all around. See the picture hopefully you will be able to tell. So yest it sits flush
by|May 5, 2023
A: They sit flush with the contact surface. No lower protrusion
