A: Hello Beagleman and thank you for your interest in Moen products. The Moen Icon 24 in. Towel Bar in Chrome uses the Pro-Fit mounting system. To remove the towel bar from the wall you will need to locate the notched opening on the underside of the decorative mounting post. Using a small flat bladed screw driver, you will need to push the screw driver up into the opening; while pressing upward you can then rock/wiggle the mounting post loose from the hardware.
