A:  I have one and it is pure shiny chrome.

A:  This product is highly reflective chrome as I am able to see my reflection in the shower.

A:  Hi Rita Yes, this unit will work fine as a ceiling mounted rain shower head. The only consideration is to be sure to mount the shower head so the pattern control, can be reached by all of the potential users. Mike,The Home Depot Answer Man

A:  I think this would be a great possibility to use overhead.

A:  It works equally well on wall and from the ceiling. We had it as a wall mount in our guest shower while the master walk-in shower was being built. Now its on a ceiling mount at about 7' up and its a perfect rain shower head. The control turns easily changing to higher pressure for a perfect final rinse.

A:  That's what I did.. But I had an extended connection to a previous rain showerhead.

A:  Yes, it is very easy. It will take 5 minutes or less. Simply remove the old shower head and install this one into its place. Just remember to put some tape on the threads before screwing the new one in.

A:  Very easy. A little Teflon tape on the shower arm and just spin this on. A crescent wrench to finish tightening.
