If your Moen shower has a push/pull style and the escutcheon screws are located at 2 & 7, the T3111BN Kingsley Single-Handle Moentrol Valve Trim Kit in Brushed Nickel (Valve Not Included) will fit. A:  Hello Mike and thank you for your interest in the Moen Kingsley Single-Handle Moentrol Valve Trim Kit in Oil Rubbed Bronze (Valve Included). There is a gap between the handle and the escutcheon plate to ensure the screws on the plate do not interfere with the operation of the handle. Depending on the installation, it is acceptable for this gap to be between ½” – 1”. Moen does offer an escutcheon extension ring that will work with a 7” round escutcheon plate, part number 162ORB. This escutcheon extension ring will push the plate forward ½”. The Moen T3111BN Kingsley 1-Handle Moentrol Valve Trim Kit in Brushed Nickel (Valve Not Included) can be used with a Moen Adapter kit, part number 145058 on an existing valve, providing the balance spool is not on the top of the valve.
