A:  Several answers are wrong. Secure mounting on wallboard/sheet rock *IS* safe with Moens secure mount , up to 300 lbs person. Google the test data available online. Without secure mounts you will rip them from the wall the first time you slip.

A:  Yes. I bought two of them for my shower project. One is horizontal on the side wall of the shower, the other is vertical beside the shower head. Just remember, you want to mount them where you can screw into 2x4 studs. DO NOT try to mount them merely to tile or sheet rock. That will not be strong enough to hold the weight of a person.

A:  Yes, all hardware comes with the grab bar and it is easy to install. Instructions are also included.
