The Moen 2 handle roman tub fixed rough in valve with shower diverter, model #9793, does come with adapters to connect pex to the valve and then your line connection would be CPVC. If you want pex to pex, you would have to provide an adapter to do so.

The valve was designed and manufactured to comply with the applicable requirement of: ASME A112018.1/CSA B-125.1, ASTM F1807, CSA B137.5 for PEX, ASTM D2846, CSA B137.6 for CPVC and all applicable requirements referenced therein. For a tub installation 8" on center you would want to use the Moen 4-Hole Roman Tub Rough-in PEX/CPVC Valve, model number 9793.
