A:  We had the same thing happen with ours. And in the same amount of time -- 2 yrs, maybe a little less. My husband contacted the company and they sent us a replacement hose and sprayer. We haven't installed it yet.

Yes, the spout clears the side sprayer. The height at the bottom of the spout is 6-11/16” and the side sprayer height is 5-1/2”. A:  Yes, it doesn't go anywhere near it. This is a "pretty" faucet but if you have a double sink-- the ones that have that divide in the middle... sometimes if you are trying to wash a very large pot--- it can be a bit of challenge trying to clean the bottom of the (really, really large) pot when you flip it because of the limited space. Of course you can use the sprayer but do you really want to get splashed with all that water when only the pot needs to be cleaned? Something to consider.
