Q:The description says "easy clean", but I need to know if it can be taken apart to get out dirt particles, etc. The one that came with the Moen Banbury that we bought a year ago ($145) does not, and we can't get the grit out and it has restricted water flow.

A: Hello kona and thank you for your interest in Moen products. The Moen 1-Spray Easy Clean XLT 3-3/8 in. Showerhead in Brushed Nickel was not designed to be disassembled. The easy clean description means that the rubbery nubs can be wiped down to remove lime scale. If you have additional questions, please feel free to call us at 800-289-6636. A: There is no screen or filter and it looks like it could get clogged with particulates. I kept the old screen from the previous head.

A: Hello Bob and thank you for your interest in Moen products. The Moen 1-Spray Easy Clean XLT 3-3/8 in. Showerhead in Brushed Nickel is not designed to be taken apart to clean. Moen would recommend using a damp cloth and mild liquid dishwashing soap may be used, followed by rinsing with water and drying with a soft cloth. To remove water spots a 50/50 blend of household vinegar and water can also be used, followed by rinsing with water and drying with a soft cloth.
